Selected Aphorisms #5

The fifth installment in our heart-pounding new series.

In his Laws, Plato writes that everyone “must make of life a noble game,” or something to that effect. Almost 2500 years later, Herman Hesse wrote basically the same thing in his book The Glass Bead Game. My guess is, you fast forward to 4500 AD, you’ll find another guy making roughly the same point. What that particular book will be called, I can’t say, but I do have one prediction: it’ll have been written on a computer with a much better wireless adapter than this one.
