Greek Fragment #7

From a series of Greek fragments from the 7th century BCE.

If an ass arouses me,
I don’t care to whom it belongs:
in either case, I’ll make it mine.

Greek Fragment #6

From a series of Greek fragments from the 7th century BCE.

Is Aphron’s mother a whore?
Indeed, he’s the only one
to ever come out of her.

Greek Fragment #5

From a series of Greek fragments from the 7th century BCE.

Did I stab Aphron in the back?
Yes, but I was forced to:
the man was entirely ass.

Greek Fragment #4

Part of a series.

This one worships the God of War.
This other one, the God of Love.
Me? My preference is for the God of Lunch.

Three Greek Fragments

Here are three translations of Greek fragments from the 7th century BCE:

1.
I’ll hit a man for any number of reasons,
but stab him for only one.

2.
My wife’s crotch versus an old goat’s:
I can’t tell the difference anymore.
That’s okay: I, myself, am an animal.

3.
Is that the smell of the ocean,
or the crotches of all the whores in port?
I’ll have to do some research!
