Of Public Speaking and Its Attendant Anxiety

Alot of people get nervous when they speak in public. “It feels like I have butterflies in my stomach,” they say.

I get anxious when I speak in public, too. For me, though, the nervous sensation feels less like butterflies in my stomach and more like a large-bosomed hair stylist named Tina shampooing my hair all sensually.
